Calvary Episcopal Church in Summit, NJ recently announced that it has chosen Good Shepherd Academy in Cameroon as its international outreach focus for 2017.

They write: “In her December sermon, the Rev. Canon Elizabeth Geitz spoke passionately about Good Shepherd Academy, founded by Sister Jane Mankaa who also founded Good Shepherd Orphanage. Calvary and it’s parishioners have a long history of support for the orphanages located in Bamenda and Batibo, and are now proud to support Sister Jane’s long-held vision of establishing a co-ed secondary/high school in her home village of Bafut…Our parish intends to raise $200,000 in 2017 to build a new multi-purpose hall at the school to be called The Calvary Centre.”

Your lives will be forever changed by your commitment and dedication. We broke ground on The Calvary Centre in December that will serve as a Dining Hall, Worship Space, Performing Arts Center, and Assembly Hall.
